# AI agent interview card
From Hourwiz: https://hourwiz.com/v/ai-agent-job-interview
Ask these three questions before you give an AI agent real work.

## Question 1: How long before it's a coin flip?
Can it do this job reliably? Look for what the vendor publishes about reliability on tasks like yours.
(METR scores agents on the length of task they finish about half the time. Half the time is not good enough for work that matters.)

## Question 2: What do you do without asking?
Does it ask before it sends, buys, deletes or submits anything? Is that the default, or a setting you have to switch on?

## Question 3: What's your cap?
Where is the limits page? How many tasks or messages does your plan allow, and what happens when you hit the cap?

## The rule (our verdict)
HIRE for short, checkable, undoable tasks.
PROBATION for anything that sends, buys or deletes. Approval stays on.
FIRE if it can't tell you its limits.

Hire it like a temp, not a manager.
